Privacy Policy

TL;DR: We store only behavioral trade data (emotion, rules, P&L). We never store passwords, broker credentials, or financial account numbers. Your data is encrypted and only you can access it.
1. Who We Are
MindOfTrader ("we", "us", "our") is a behavioral trading intelligence platform built for Indian NSE options traders. Founder: Varsha Singh. Contact: hello@mindoftrader.com
2. What Data We Collect
When you sign in with Google:
- Your Google display name and email address
- Your Google profile photo URL
- A unique user ID (from Google, not your personal identifier)
When you use the app:
- Trade metadata: date, symbol, strike, action, lots, entry/exit prices
- Behavioral tags: emotional state, rules followed, setup type
- Reflection notes and lessons (text you write)
- App usage: last active date, trade count
- App preferences: broker choice, daily loss limit settings
3. What We NEVER Store
- Passwords of any kind
- Broker API keys or secrets (stored only in your browser's localStorage)
- Bank account or demat account numbers
- Financial positions, holdings, or portfolio data
- PAN card, Aadhaar, or government ID
4. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the behavioral analytics service
- To generate your Trading DNA report
- To enable AI analysis (anonymized summaries sent to Anthropic API)
- To sync your trades across devices
- To improve the product (aggregate, anonymous analytics only)
5. Where Data Is Stored
Your data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, hosted in secure Google Cloud data centers. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.
6. AI Analysis
When you run AI analysis, a behavioral summary of your trades (counts, patterns, statistics — NOT raw trade data) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. We use the following service providers:
- Google Firebase — authentication and database storage
- Anthropic — AI analysis (anonymized behavioral summaries only)
- Vercel — website hosting
8. Your Rights
- Access: You can export all your trades as CSV at any time from the app
- Delete: Email us at hello@mindoftrader.com to delete all your data
- Portability: Export your data via the built-in CSV export
- Correction: Edit or delete individual trades directly in the app
9. Cookies
We use only essential cookies for authentication (Google Firebase session). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
10. Children
MindOfTrader is intended for adults who trade in financial markets. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
